Strengthening collaboration between startups from Central Japan, India, Singapore, and South Korea
January 13, 2026 — 01Booster Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: George Goda), a venture builder supporting corporate open innovation and new business creation, announced that it has selected 15 overseas startups to participate in TechGALA Japan 2026, a global event organized by the Central Japan Startup Ecosystem Consortium.
As part of the Excursion Program, the selected startups will receive mentoring, seminars, and business matching opportunities to support their entry into the Japanese market, with a particular focus on market expansion in the Central Japan region.
Overview of TechGALA Japan 2026
TechGALA Japan, first held in 2025, attracted approximately 5,000 participants and garnered significant attention as the largest innovation conference in the Central Japan region.
The 2026 event will further evolve into a global connectivity hub linking overseas startups with Central Japan, serving as a platform to accelerate market entry into Japan and collaborative business development, particularly for startups across Asia.
This year’s event will expand as a world-class platform connecting startups tackling global challenges with Japan’s industrial ecosystem. India, Singapore, and South Korea have been designated as the three core regions, with local pitch events and other initiatives actively strengthening participation from global startups.

Selected startups will receive the following support:

- Visits to regional ecosystem facilities and networking opportunities

TechGALA Related Event — “Asia Innovation Meetup”
In conjunction with the Excursion Program, the Asia Innovation Meetup will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Hamamatsu, Japan.
Startups selected from India, South Korea, and Singapore will gather to showcase solutions in manufacturing, biotechnology, wellness, and mobility, while exploring collaboration opportunities with Japanese companies, investors, and local governments.
