Amously to Unveil Semiconductor Process Control Platform ‘Amfibian’ at WIS 2026… “Production AI Trusted by Engineers”

Amously (CEO Seungcheon Choi) announced that it will participate in the ‘World IT Show 2026 (WIS 2026)’, to be held for three days from April 22 (Wed) to April 24 (Fri) at COEX in Seoul. Through this exhibition, the company plans to showcase its AI-based process control platform for automating and intelligentizing semiconductor manufacturing processes, along with real-world industrial application cases.

Amously is an industrial AI company founded by engineers with experience operating global semiconductor mass-production lines. Rather than pursuing research-oriented experimental approaches, the company focuses on implementing AI that operates reliably in real 24/7 production environments and can be trusted by process engineers. It aims to address structural bottlenecks caused by increasing process complexity and reliance on skilled labor through software.

The key technology to be highlighted at the exhibition is the on-premise AI process control platform ‘Amfibian™’. The solution predicts process conditions based on semiconductor production data and derives optimal recipes and control parameters. It is designed so that process engineers can directly create, modify, validate, and deploy models without the need for developers or data scientists.

Amously originated as an internal venture of SK hynix and has secured seed investments from FuturePlay and TheVentures, demonstrating both its technological capability and business potential. The company has validated its competitiveness through domestic and international programs, including winning ‘Challenge! K-Startup’ and participating in Japan’s TechGALA. Based on its validation in CMP processes, it is currently in discussions with major semiconductor companies for adoption.

At the exhibition, Amously plans to emphasize that its AI platform is directly usable by process engineers. Amid structural industry challenges such as process miniaturization and workforce shortages, the company presents a direction toward achieving more stable and efficient manufacturing environments through data-driven decision-making and standardized control workflows.

CEO Seungcheon Choi stated, “We are currently targeting the United States and Japan as key markets for expansion,” adding, “Both markets, where advanced process investments and large-scale fabs are concentrated, have strong demand for process optimization and automation, making them highly suitable for our technology.” He added, “We plan to gradually carry out PoCs centered on major local fabs to secure references.”

He further noted, “Since semiconductor process control solutions are applied directly to production lines, it realistically takes considerable time to verify technology and build trust,” explaining that “establishing references and partnerships is a key challenge in overseas markets.” He added, “Starting with CMP, we aim to expand into etch and deposition processes and evolve into a manufacturing AI platform covering equipment and fab levels, ultimately growing into a trusted company in the global market.”

Meanwhile, WIS 2026, a comprehensive ICT exhibition, will present the latest technologies and products across sectors including AI & Digital Intelligence, Robotics & Intelligent Mobility, Immersive Spatial Tech, and Smart Life & Data Tech, introducing the latest ICT trends and future technology directions.
